Monica is the Managing Director of Stimulus Private Equity and also an Executive of Pointbreak. She is the Chairperson of several boards in both the public and private sector and has directorships that span different sectors. She has served on numerous bodies such as the President’s Economic Advisory Council and the National Council of the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the mandate to provide high-level advice on national policy formulation and implementation.
She has received numerous merit awards including the Namibia Chamber of Commerce award as the 'Namibian business personality of the year', and the 'Most Innovative Entrepreneur’ award from the University of Potchefstroom (South Africa).
Monica is a member of the Crans Montana Forum of Global Young Leaders and a recipient of the Fortune 500 Global Women’s Mentoring Programme. She has been inducted into the Namibian Business Hall of Fame.

Willy Mertens is the Financial Manager of Debmarine Namibia. He has been in the mining industry for more than 15 years. Willy joined Namdeb in February 2000 and held various internal audit positions before moving to Debmarine Namibia in 2006. He is a registered Chartered Accountant with a Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mining) from Wits University. Willy is also a Certified Internal Auditor with Post Graduate Diplomas in Accounting, Auditing and Taxation. He completed the Senior Management Development Programme through the University of Stellenbosch. He also serves on the boards of the Namibian Institute of Mining & Technology (NIMT) and NORED Electricity Company
Independent Non-Executive Director
Anne-Doris is a lawyer and Director at Ueitele and Hans Inc. Legal Practitioners, Notaries and Estate Administrators and has been in private practice for 13 years. She was further appointed as a Court-Connected Mediator in the High Court of Namibia last year.
Martin is a former Chief Executive of the City of Windhoek and was appointed as the first Managing Director for Nedbank Namibia in 2004. He went on to set up and establish SmartSwitch Namibia, a joint venture company between Nampost and Net1 Technologies. Martin has various formal qualifications and has experience in serving on both public and private company boards.
He currently serves on the boards of Zebra Holdings, Bidvest Namibia, Mutual and Federal and chairs the Frans Indongo Group. Martin is a full-time entrepreneur and the founder and owner of Mamma Fresh, Moola Mobile & Tusk Mobile and Electronics. He also manages a large property portfolio.
Martin has a passion and interest in promoting small businesses.
Chief Financial Officer (Executive Director)
Gerald is a Chartered Accountant and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of EBank. Gerald completed his audit articles at PwC Namibia. After his articles, he joined PwC’s Tax Department where he progressed to the position of Associate Director and headed the Corporate and International Tax Division. Gerald joined Pointbreak during 2007. In his position as Group Finance Director he was responsible for overseeing the finance function of Pointbreak’s Namibian and South African operations. His duties included risk management, IT, governance, financial reporting and financial strategy. Gerald further assumed overall responsibility for Pointbreak’s Asset Management division.
Gerald took on the challenge of establishing the EBank dream and was directly involved in the task of setting up the initial banking model and submitting the applications for the banking license.
Gerald’s qualifications include a B.Com (Cum Laude), B.Compt (Hons), CA (Nam / SA) and an Adv Cert. VAT.
