    If you are 16 years of age or older, simply dial *140*140# on your MTC cellphone from the comfort of, well, anywhere in Namibia and you can open yourself an EBank Easy.



    Please note that all funds received into your EBank Easy account will be on hold for 48 hours. For immediate access to you funds, please visit an EBank Branch or Client Service Centre with your original Identity Document or Passport.

    Your EBank Easy is now set up and ready for use.

    How to Open an EBank Smart


    If you are 16 years or older, to open an EBank Smart you will need to visit your nearest EBank Ambassador at an EBank EZone. Click on Our Network on the main menu
    to locate the Ambassador nearest to you.

    To open an EBank Smart:

    Your EBank Smart is now set up and ready for use.

    How to Cash In (Deposit)



    Deposit cash into your EBank account by following these simple steps:
    - Dial *140*140#
    - Enter your Secret PIN
    - Select "2" for Cash In
    - Specify the amount you want to deposit
    - Give your 8-digit ECode to the cashier to finalise the transaction

    How to Cash Out (Withdraw)


    Withdraw from your EBank account as follows:
    - Dial *140*140#
    - Enter your Secret PIN
    - Select "3" for Cash Out
    - Specify the amount
    - Give your 8-digit ECode to the cashier to finalise the transaction

    How to Pay for Fuel



    Pay for fuel at enabled Engen Service Stations using your cellphone:
    - Dial *140*140#
    - Enter your Secret PIN
    - Select "4" for Pay at Till
    - Give your 8-digit ECode to the cashier to finalise the transaction.

    How to Pay for Goods and Services



    Pay at selected retailers using your cellphone:
    - Dial *140*140#
    - Enter your Secret PIN
    - Select "4" for Pay at Till
    - Give your 8-digit ECode to the cashier to finalise the transaction.

    How to Buy Airtime and Electricity


    Buy electricity and airtime off your EBank account using your cellphone:
    - Dial *140*140#
    - Enter your Secret PIN
    - Select "5" for Airtime and Electricity
    - Choose between Airtime and Electricity
    - Follow the instructions which includes specifying the amount to buy and for which cell phone number or meter

    Note! EBank is offering clients a 5% cash back on all airtime purchases!

    Electricity and Airtime can also be bought by logging onto mobi.ebank.na on your Smart Phone or by logging onto ebank.na from your computer.

    How to Send Money


    Send Money to any MTC cellphone number:
    - Dial *140*140#
    - Enter your Secret PIN
    - Select "1" for Send Money
    - Enter the recipient number and amount
    - Confirm the transaction
    - Both you and the recipient will receive an SMS that the money has been sent

    Note
    : If the recipient does not have an EBank account already, they will be required to set one up within 7 days or the money will be returned to the sender.

    How to do an Electronic Payment


    Electronic payments (EFTs) can be done to or from any bank in Namibia from EBank. To do an electronic payment via Internet Banking:
    - Click on 'Online Banking' on the top right of the screen at ebank.na;
    - Access the site by entering your Cellphone Number and Secret PIN;
    - Click on 'Payment';
    - Enter information required under 'Existing Recipient', 'Once -off Payment' or 'New Recipient'.

    Note: All new beneficiaries need to be authorised by dialing *140*140#. All payments are also authorised once loaded by dialing *140*140#.

    To do an electronic payment via Mobi (Smart Phone) Banking:
    - Access mobi.ebank.na on your phone's internet browser;
    - Enter your Cellphone Number and Secret PIN;
    - Click on 'Transact';
    - Click on 'EFT';
    - Enter information required under 'Existing Recipient', 'Once -off Payment' or 'New Recipient'.

    Note: All new beneficiaries need to be authorised by dialing *140*140#. All payments are also authorised once loaded by dialing *140*140#.

    How to Use your Savings Account


    EBank offers clients a free 32-day notice savings account, which is opened immediately when you open your EBank Easy or Smart.

    To transfer money to or from your savings account:
    - Dial *140*140#
    - Enter your Secret PIN
    - Select "8" for Saving
    - Select whether to Transfer money TO the savings account or to release money FROM the savings account
    - Select the Account to Transfer the Money From
    - Select the Account to Transfer the Money To
    - Enter the Amount to Transfer
    - Confirm the Transaction

    Please note that you will not be charged a fee to release the funds on the 32-day notice period. However, should you require immediate access to your savings funds, you will be charged a penalty fee of 5% of the transaction amount, to a maximum of N$100.00.

    Alternatively, log onto mobi.ebank.na or ebank.na to follow the process via Internet Banking.
